Hot Corner Strength & Conditioning offers top-tier strength & conditioning programs specifically designed for athletes, with a specialization in baseball and softball. Since 2018, we’ve proudly worked with athletes from the MLB to Little Leagues, as well as collegiate athletes across a variety of sports. Our expert coaches focus on enhancing athletic performance through tailored training that improves strength, speed, agility, mobility, and injury prevention.

Head Strength Coach: Matt Wietslispach

Head Strength Coach: Sydney Rice

Sydney Rice was named Head of Strength and Conditioning at Niagara University in 2023 after beginning her career there as an intern in 2017. She oversees the physical development, performance, and injury prevention strategies for the university’s Division I athletics programs.

With over eight years of coaching experience, Sydney has worked with athletes of all ages and skill levels, helping Niagara teams capture five MAAC championships across multiple sports. She also spent two years as a performance coach at Impact Performance in Buffalo, N.Y., where she designed individualized programs to enhance athletic performance and reduce injury risk.

A former Division II tennis player at Edinboro University, Sydney earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Performance. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
