Max Giordano

Max Giordano, from Lancaster, New York, is a former Division 1 college baseball player at Niagara University (2019–2023). A versatile infielder and outfielder who bats and throws right-handed, he posted a .374 batting average in his 2023 graduate season—one of the best in program history—while setting a single-season record with 16 home runs and adding 54 RBIs and 51 runs. He earned First Team All-MAAC, ABCA/Rawlings All-Region, MAAC All-Academic honors, and was a Player of the Week selection. Over five seasons, Giordano finished second in program history for at-bats and home runs, and fifth in RBIs.

After graduation, he played with the Trenton Thunder in the MLB Draft League (2023) before transitioning into coaching. In August 2024, he became a volunteer assistant coach at William & Mary, where he helped transform the team’s offense from last in league batting average to first in their conference and top 10 nationally. Giordano earned his bachelor’s degree in Sports Operations from Niagara University and continued graduate studies through an MBA program.
